2008

• MAT-VAC Technology and P. M. Group USA have entered into a definitive agreement, whereby MAT-VAC Technology will have the exclusive rights to market P. M. Group's High Purity Precious Metals for PVD Thin Film Deposition in the USA and Canada.
  
  Under the terms of the agreement, primary manufacturing will be at P. M. Group's ISO 9001 approved precious metals high tech refining and state-of-the-art manufacturing facility located in a Free Trade Zone adjacent to the airport at Cali, Columbia. Sales and distribution and some value added manufacturing steps, such as target bonding and characterization of precious metal thin film processes, will take place at MAT-VAC's Florida headquarters for PVD Systems, thin film materials, and thin film coating services sales and manufacturing. In addition, MAT-VAC Technology will provide technical assistance on new product development including enhancements to existing products.

• MAT-VAC books order for an MVT-943 Load Lock Sputtering System to major Southeastern RF Microwave microelectronics manufacturer.


• MAT-VAC Exhibits at Society of Vacuum Coaters 50th Annual Technical Conference in Louisville, KY, April 28-May 3.



• MAT-VAC Ships MVT-8667 (round targets) Sputtering System to prestigious Kostas Facility of Micro & Nanofabrication of Northeastern University, Boston MA. System is installed and running in ONE day!


• MAT-VAC Ships MVT-943 to major Midwestern semiconductor IC manufacturer. MAT-VAC won the delivery bonus for delivering the completed system 4 weeks ARO. System was installed and operational in two days!

2006

• MAT-VAC ships MVT-943 to Southeastern US advanced semiconductor process development firm "creating next-generation 3D integration strategies and processes"


• MAT-VAC ships a MVT-8667 (round targets) to major Minnesota based manufacturer of thin film sensors.


• MAT-VAC ships the last of five (5) MVT-900/MVT-600 series load lock batch sputtering systems to a major Southeastern US manufacturer of thin film products & resistive components. Customer reports better film quality and adhesion than that of their previous systems.

2005

• MAT-VAC Ships MVT-942 load lock batch sputtering system to Southwestern US based world-wide leading manufacturer of "Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser Components"


• MAT-VAC ships MVT-943 to Lockheed/Martin Co., Orlando, FL. System configuration is "full up" with all RF, DC, Heat, and Shutter options.


• MAT-VAC ships MVT-943 to major ceramics to metal sealing high tech component manufacturer.


• MAT-VAC ships first of five (5) MVT-900/MVT-600 series systems to a Southeastern US manufacturer of thin film products & resistive components. These are the first of the Universal Sputterer™ based systems.


• MAT-VAC Completes design and internal test of the Universal Sputterer™ automation platform begun in 2004. This single platform supports 6 different MAT-VAC MVT-900/MVT-600 series sputtering system models.
