High Purity PVD Materials Capabilities
MAT-VAC Technology employs a wide variety of manufacturing and quality
control techniques to assure you of the highest quality sputtering targets and evaporation
materials available. Some of the processes utilized to manufacture these high purity PVD Material products include:
- Inert Atmosphere and Vacuum Induction Melting
- Electron Beam Melting/Zone Refining
- Cathodic Arc Melting
- Vacuum, Inert and Reactive Atmosphere Sintering
- Hot and Cold Isostatic Pressing
- Hot and Cold Rolling/Forging
Utilizing CNC and conventional machining equipment, we are able to provide materials
(metal and ceramic) which meet minimum internally generated (standard) tolerance
requirements. Please see our
standard product tolerances for more information.
All materials are thoroughly inspected, cleaned and then packaged using only vacuum
compatible techniques. Each item is rigorously inspected to insure all materials are
blemish free and have been manufactured to exact specification.
MAT-VAC will deliver only the highest quality materials available
(purity levels ranging from 99% to 99.999%). We can make this statement because our
ongoing, relentless efforts in qualifying only the leading producers of high purity
raw materials and constant upgrades to our production capabilities. We may not always be
the lowest priced supplier of targets and evaporation materials, but you can be sure that
the products we deliver are 100% guaranteed to conform to specification.
Each material is shipped with a Certificate of Analysis and a Material Safety Data Sheet
for the composition you have ordered.
All PVD materials supplied by MAT-VAC are in compliance with The RoHS Directive. This will be noted on the Certificate of Analysis
When required by a customer's purchase order, all PVD materials will meet the requirements of DF ARS 252.225-7014 ALT 1. This requirement states that nickel alloys containing more that 10% alloyed materials and all titanium or titanium alloys that are used in compliant products must be melted in the US or a qualifying country. Certificates of Analysis for PVD materials with metals covered under DF ARS will include a statement that the materials used are in compliance with DF ARS 252.225-7014 ALT 1 requirements.
Regardless of your particular requirement, MAT-VAC will
strive to serve you. Please contact MAT-VAC with any questions you may
